How are Swag Store prices determined?
The prices of Swag Store items are based on several indicators, including availability; cost of prize acquisition; shipping fees; and the dollar value of Swag Bucks. Swag Bucks do not have a preset value, but like other commodities will fluctuate according to the number in circulation, relative demand, and other external factors.
All items in the Swag Store are issued an "Original Price" at the time of their introduction. While some items may be discounted for temporary, promotional purposes, the price of any given prize will never exceed the "Original Price". Clicking on any item in the Swag Store will take you to a Product Details page, containing the Original Price, Discount Offers, and all other prize-specific information.
I have the Swag Bucks to redeem a prize, but I'm being told that I don't have enough. What's going on?
You can only redeem prizes on the site(s) where you've earned your Swag Bucks. If you've used multiple Swag Bucks-powered sites, you may want to visit the section titled "My Swag Bucks" in your account. There you can find a complete breakdown of your Swag Bucks account and how many Swag Bucks are available for you to spend, and on which particular site.
Can I transfer Swag Bucks from one Search&Win site to another?
Swag Bucks earned on one site cannot be used or transferred to another site. To ensure you are maximizing your Swag Bucks earnings, be sure to use the Search&Win site that has the prizes you want, at the best possible prices.
My friend registered under me, but I'm not receiving matching Swag Bucks. Why not?
When you refer a friend and they sign up with the link you send them, you are awarded matching Swag Bucks (within 48 hours) only for the Bucks they win while searching (up to a total of 1,000). You are not, however, awarded matching Bucks for those earned as a sign-up bonus, through Shop&Earn, from our trade-in programs, from entering Swag Codes, from Swagstakes, from friends of friends, or from any other method.
I've heard that I can earn Swag Bucks for sending in a photo and/or video of me with my new Swag Store prize. Is that true?

How do I ship my phone from home?

Attach it to the outside of your package with the phone and drop it in the mail.
Do I need to pay for shipping?
Swag Bucks Go Green will cover the shipping costs for all phones sent from the U.S. Simply print out the prepaid USPS shipping label and attach it to the outside of your package. We will gladly accept phones from Canada and the U.K. but the shipping costs will not be covered.
What type of phones can be recycled?
You can earn Swag Bucks for hundreds of different phones, and even most types of mp3 players! We accept phones from ANY manufacturer and ANY carrier in ANY condition.
How many phones can I trade-in?
There is no limit to how many phones you can recycle with Swag Bucks Go Green. If you or someone you know has a large supply of old cell phones, trading them all in with Swag Bucks Go Green may be the best and fastest way to earn top www.swagbucks.com prizes.
Does Swag Bucks Go Green guarantee the value of my cell phone trade-in?
As long as you correctly describe the condition of your cell phone and we receive it in the condition stated, you will receive the quoted Swag Bucks trade-in value. However, we do inspect every cell phone, and trade-in values may be adjusted if we receive your cell phone in a condition different than what you describe.
How do I erase all the data from my cell phone?
Most cell phone models allow you to erase all the data and reset it to the factory settings. Refer to your owner's manual or the manufacturer's website for instructions. Also, make sure to remove any user locks from your cell phone, or set the password to 0000.
Do I need to cancel my service or deactivate my cell phone?
YES! All Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, US Cellular, Cellular One, metroPCS, and NTelos cell phones and all other CDMA cell phones that DO NOT use a SIM card MUST BE RELEASED AND HAVE A ZERO ACCOUNT BALANCE. Credits issued may be reduced to 0 for phones from CDMA carriers that have not been released or carry an unpaid balance.
How do I find my cell phones IMEI/ESN number?
Most cell phones have the IMEI or ESN number located on the sticker underneath the battery. If your cell phone is GSM (most Cingular and T-Mobile phones) you can also press the following keys one by one: * # 0 6 #. As you press the last #, your phone's IMEI number will appear on the screen.
How can I tell if my phone has water damage?
Most cell phones have a water damage sticker underneath the battery. If the sticker is a red dot that has "bled" beneath your battery it is an indication that it has come in contact with moisture or water.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
We pay for all shipping that originates in the United States. Simply print the shipping label and attach it to the front of your package. If you are shipping from Canada or the UK, or would like to have your package tracked or insured, then you will need to make your own shipping arrangements.
How do I know you received my package?
You will receive a "Package Received" E-Mail from our partners at BRE Software. This message will be sent to the E-Mail Address as entered on your transaction. Please watch your Bulk/Spam folders as these messages are sometimes misrouted by your ISP, spam software, or E-Mail program.
Can I trade in Import Games?
We only accept North American/NTSC games/consoles, and we DO NOT accept European/PAL games. If you do not know what type of game you have, chances are it is the NTSC if you are in the US or Canada and PAL if you are in the UK.
How long until I receive my Swag Bucks?
If you are using the pre-paid postage label provided on the confirmation page, it will generally take approximately 4-6 weeks from the time your package is sent to the time you receive your Swag Bucks. Due to the way the post office processes the pre-paid postage labels, packages sent using these labels take an additional 3-5 working days to get to us.
Can I send in broken games/consoles?
You can send in broken games and consoles, however there is no guarantee you will receive any Swag Bucks. If you send in a broken console then it's possible there are parts or accessories that still work, and we will gladly award you Swag Bucks for them.
Do I need to have the box and/or instructions?
No, but you won't receive as many Swag Bucks for the trade-in. You will be shown two different prices for each game - one will be with box and instructions, the other without box and/or instructions. If you choose the first option with box and instructions but either is missing when your game is received then you will receive a reduced amount of Swag Bucks.
Can I trade in PC or Mac Games?
At this time we do not accept PC or Mac Games for the Video Game Trade-In program.
Can you send me a shipping label? Mine won't print.
Unfortunately we cannot send you a shipping label if yours does not print. You don't need to use the shipping label we provide, however if you don't then you will need to cover the cost of shipping.

Do gift certificates qualify for Swag Bucks rewards?
No! We can't give Swag Bucks for the portion of a purchase that is made with gift cards or certificates. Nor can we give Swag Bucks for the purchase of gift certificates or gift cards, with the exception of certain stores.
Do I need to login before shopping in the Shop&Earn Mall?
While you technically do not need to login in order to shop in the Shop&Earn Mall, you will not be awarded Swag Bucks for your purchases unless you login prior to beginning your shopping experience.
Do all purchases qualify for Swag Bucks rewards?
Virtually every item you purchase through our site qualifies for Swag Bucks. We cannot, however, give Swag Bucks for taxes, shipping, or any portion of a purchase that is paid for with coupons, gift certificates or a store credit. Can I return or cancel an order from the Shop&Earn Mall?
Returns, exchanges or cancellations are subject to the policies of the store from which you made your purchase. If you return, exchange or cancel an item, we have to reverse any Swag Bucks earned from that sale.
Instead of exchanging an item, please return the item and then purchase again as a separate transaction. Remember you must first click thru our site before making the purchase at a store.
What happens if I return my Shop&Earn purchase?
If you return an item that you purchased through the Swagbucks.com Shop & Earn mall the amount of bucks that the purchase is worth will be deducted from your account. 30 days after the purchase, and the retailer has verified the return (or partial return), you will be re-credited with the bucks that had been deducted.

What kind of hints can I give when helping people find Swag Codes?

Other reasons why a Swag Code may not be working for you include the possibility that the Code is expired or that you are attempting to enter the Code on the wrong website. Certain Swag Codes may only be applied on particular websites (i.e. Swagbucks.com, or any of our partnering Search&Win sites).
I've seen other websites offer Swag Codes. Are those real?

Why am I being prevented from participating in certain surveys?
Swag Bucks surveys are generally targeted to specific communities of individuals based on demographic data such as age, occupation, personal interest, etc. In most cases, we must solicit data prior to putting you into a "panel" to ensure that you meet all eligibility requirements.
Please note that if you complete a pre-screener it is not a guarantee that you will be eligible to participate in the survey. On your survey user panel you will find a percentage likelihood that you qualify for participation based on the limited information we have about you.
How can I earn more Swag Bucks by taking surveys?
Completing "deeper profiles" helps Swag Bucks alert you only to surveys for which you qualify. These profiles also help us serve you with more targeted surveys which have significantly higher Swag Bucks payouts.
How long after taking a survey will I be awarded with Swag Bucks?
Immediately upon completing a survey, your account will be credited with "pending" Swag Bucks. Your Swag Bucks will become active after we verify that you have participated fully and honestly with the questionnaire. In some cases, this can take several days to a couple of weeks.
Why am I not being awarded Swag Bucks for a survey I participated in?
If it is determined that you have only partially completed a survey, or that you have provided knowingly false information, you may be denied Swag Bucks for participating in a survey.

What if a survey encountered a technical error?
We strive to ensure the best survey taking experience for our members, however there is always a chance that a technical error may occur. If your survey encounters an error, rest assured that our team will be investigating the issue with a focus on getting our members back up and running as soon as possible.
Why did my survey disqualify me before I finished?
It is very frustrating to invest time and effort into a survey then get opted out mid-process or especially at the end of an interview. Please understand that each survey serves a specific purpose for each research company that we work with. For example, if an answer you provide is not consistent with the criteria related to qualification, then your survey data will be excluded from the final results and will not be saved. As a result, the survey will end.
These sudden exits are not always based on your demographic information and can be based on a set of responses you provide during the survey. Some surveys will ask you the same question twice to make sure that you are paying attention. Conflicting answers will cause the survey to end. The best way to make sure this does not happen is to pay close to the surveys you are completing and being as honest as possible.
In what cases will I NOT receive Swag Bucks for doing surveys?
You will not receive your survey reward and your member account may be closed if you engage in any of the following activities:
- Register by providing false or misleading information.
- Provide false or misleading information in our surveys or profiles in an attempt to qualify.
- Demonstrate inattentive behavior such as speeding through a survey or entering information that is ineligible.
- Create multiple accounts.

How do I change personal information associated with my account?
To change any personal information related to your Swag Bucks account, you will need to go to the Account Details page of the My Account section. Once there, you can change your email address, password, and physical address.
How do I change my security question?
Your security question is in place to prevent others from compromising your account. We will ask you the answer to this question in the event that we need to confirm your identity as the account owner. Once this answer is chosen, it cannot be changed under any circumstances, so make sure you remember it or write it down.
How do I change my Swag Name?
Swag Names are permanent and cannot be changed once selected.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
If you forget your password, you need to request that it is sent to your registered email address. To do this, enter your registered email address in the log in box and click "email password." Your password will then be sent to your registered email address. Please check your bulk folder for this email, as your email server may mistake it as spam.
How do I cancel my account?
To cancel your account, simply visit the Account Details page of the My Account section and select the Cancel My Account link at the bottom of the page.
Why is the total of Swag Bucks on my home page lower than the total on my account details page?
The home page occasionally lags behind your account details page. Don't worry; it generally catches up within 24 hours. Until it does, just know that the total on the account details page is the correct one.

This feature is case sensitive, so please make sure you are entering the captcha (security code) in the same case that it is displayed. If you are having a hard time making out the 3 letters displayed, feel free to hit refresh and you will be provided with a different configuration.
There is a place to enter a "Swag Code" on the registration page. What is that? Do I need one?

Why do I have to verify my account?
We need to make sure that you are a real person with a real email address. We do this by sending you a verification link. Before you can redeem any prizes or enter any Swagstakes, you will need to verify your account. To do this, please check the email address you registered with for a message from us. Within this message will be a verification link that you will need to click to verify your account.
I never received my verification email. Why not?
If you do not see the verification email in your inbox, first make sure you have spelled your email address correctly, then check your spam filter. Additionally, you should add support@swagbucks.com to your trusted/safe sender's list to prevent any of our future emails from getting caught up in your spam filter. When you refer a friend and they sign up with the link you send them, you are awarded matching Swag Bucks (within 48 hours) only for the Bucks they win while searching (up to a total of 1,000). You are not, however, awarded matching Bucks for those earned as a sign-up bonus, through Shop&Earn, from our trade-in programs, from entering Swag Codes, from Swagstakes, from friends of friends, or from any other method.
My friend signed up and I don't see his/her name on my friends list. What's up?
Your friends list may take up to 48 hours to list a recent referral. If your friend is still not listed after this time has elapsed, it is likely your friend navigated away from the site during registration or misused their referral link in some other fashion. We cannot manually add friends to your account if this occurs.
My friend is already a member of Swag Bucks. Is there any way to add him/her to my friends list?
Once a user registers for www.swagbucks.com or any other Swag Bucks powered Search&Win sites, that person cannot be added as a referred friend of any existing or future member.
Why haven't I received my 1,000 Swag Bucks for my friend registering?
This is a common misunderstanding concerning our referral program. You are not awarded 1,000 Swag Bucks any time a user joins using your referral link. Rather, you can earn up to 1,000 matching Bucks for the Swag Bucks your friend earns while searching.
Can I invite a family member/friend that lives in my household?
We do not allow more than one www.swagbucks.com or Swag Bucks powered Search&Win account per household. However, you and your family members/friends are welcome to share an account.

What kind of information is in your newsletter?
Our newsletters feature a variety of different kinds of information, including updates about new and upcoming Swag Bucks features, prizes and sponsors.
I got the newsletter, but the Swag Code in it is already expired. What's up?
In order to ensure that only recipients of the Swag Bucks newsletter can apply the Swag Code contained therein, it is necessary to place a time limit on the Code's redemption. Typically this limit is at least 24 hours from the time of email delivery. Reading your newsletter immediately upon receiving it is the best way to ensure your Swag Code will be active.
Prizes
I don't see a prize in the Swag Store that was there in the past. What's going on?
Many of our prizes are limited, so if we run out, we take the prize down from our site to avoid confusion. Just because a prize runs out doesn't mean we won't be getting it again in the future, so make sure to keep checking the Swag Store for current available prizes.
Why do I have to verify my prize order? What does the prize status "verified" mean?
After you order a prize, we will send you an email with a verification link contained in it. Until you click this link, your prize order will be listed as "not verified." After you click on the link, your prize order is considered verified and shipping begins (within the quoted ship time).
How are gift cards from the Swag Store delivered to me?
Most gift cards from the Swag Store are e-gift cards. These prizes are delivered to the "My Gift Cards" section of your account within 7-10 business days of prize verification.
Where is the e-gift card I ordered? When will it show up in my account?
E-gift cards take from 7 to 10 business days from the date of verification to be delivered to the "My Gift Cards" section of your account. Please keep in mind that business days do not include weekends or holidays.
How do I use the e-gift cards in the "My Gift Cards" section of my account?
E-gift cards can be used by visiting the website that the e-gift card is for and entering the gift codes when prompted to do so (usually during the checkout process). The value of the gift codes will be applied to your order.
Where is the prize I ordered? How long will it take to get to me?
Physical prizes take approximately 14 business days from the date of verification to ship out. Please keep in mind that business days do not include weekends or holidays. After your prize shipped, it can still be as long as 2 weeks before you receive your prize.
Once an item is marked shipped, it has left our warehouse. Prodege is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
There is a problem with the prize I ordered. What do I do?
Swag Bucks is not responsible for any damage caused during prize delivery. In the event you receive a damaged item, please contact your local post office.
My prize was not the same as it was in the picture on your site. Why?
Not all of our prizes are exactly as they appear in the corresponding prize photo. Please read the prize description carefully to find out exactly what you are ordering.
Does Swagbucks.com ship internationally?

Whenever you order an iTunes song or video, you are sent a link directly from iTunes via email within 7-10 business days from prize verification.
Is it true that only US residents can redeem iTunes prizes in the gift store?

Most Swag Bucks powered sites are intended to promote the products and services of our partners. The majority of those sites feature prizes that are not available on www.swagbucks.com.
Swagbucks.com is able to differentiate itself by offering many non-partner specific prizes at lower Swag Bucks prices.
Is there a limit on the amount of prizes I can earn?

There are number of actions that Swag Bucks considers cause for deactivation. These reasons include, but are not limited to, operating more than one Swag Bucks account; operating a Swag Bucks account in the same residence as another person operating a different account; searching or clicking unnaturally in accordance with our terms of use; using bots or other software designed to defraud Swag Bucks in any way; posting live Swag Codes anywhere on the web; posting verbiage, photos, or videos that encourage or teach other users to commit any action that violates our terms of use; posting inappropriately on our Facebook, Twitter, or any of our other social media sites; or posting inappropriately on our blog.
Is it true that I can't post my referral links on your Facebook page?
Yes. You are welcome to post your referral links on your own Facebook page, but please refrain from doing so on ours. Our Facebook page is intended for discussion only.
I heard that you can be deactivated for having more than one account. Is that true?
Yes, that is absolutely true. Please do not create more than one account. Doing so will result in deactivation.
There are multiple people in our home. Can we each have our own account?

How do I complete an offer?
The necessary steps to complete each offer are written in gray beneath the title and at the top of the popup window after you select an offer. To ensure that you complete the offer successfully, please use accurate information and complete each offer in one sitting (without refreshing the page). Advertisers validate your information and do not award users who provide incorrect information. With false information, the advertiser will not credit you even if you complete the rest of the offer (including making a payment).
How many times can I complete an offer?
You may only complete each offer once. Completing an offer more than once will not result in extra payments. An offer sponsor will not allow you to complete an offer more than once with the same valid information.
How long does it take to get awarded for completing an offer?
The length of time for an offer to award you depends on the particular offer and ranges from minutes to days. The estimated time it takes to get credit on some offers is labeled on the offer panel. Please only file a support request after waiting the specified time.
I had an error in the middle of completing an offer, do I still get credited?
Unfortunately, if you do experience an error and cannot complete the offer in one sitting, we cannot credit your account. Swagbucks.com does not hosts any of the offer sponsor's websites on our servers so we have no control over any errors experienced on their sites. We constantly monitor each offer and remove it if we notice multiple errors in a short amount of time.
Can you get credit if the offer page has an error before you complete the offer requirements?
Unfortunately, you must complete all the offer requirements before getting credit. If you encounter a problem with an offer page that prevents you from completing the offer requirements, please file a support request through our system before trying again. That way we can look into it and try to fix it.
Can I get credit for an offer if I complete the offer requirements without going through the link on the Swagbucks.com offer panel?

Are the payment pages hosted on a secure server?
Yes, we take the security of our users very seriously. All our payments are processed through secure servers and are safe.

How do I unsubscribe from an offer?

What and where is the Record ID#?
The Record ID# is the case number of each specific support request filed. It can be found next to the request in the INBOX, and at the top of the page while viewing a support request.

Is it OK to complete an offer more than once?

Some advertisers provide you the chance to get a $500 gift card from a favorite store. What's the catch? Well, you need to complete typically four or five offers. You should read the fine print on these types of offers as they can take a long time and require you to jump through a lot of hoops to complete. Usually only about one in ten people that set out to claim the prize will get to the end! And most of these offers require a purchase at some point along the way. And possibly your first born :) Can it be done? Yes. But it will take commitment. When will I get my Swag Bucks?
For most offers, Swag Bucks are instantaneously deposited into your account immediately after you complete an offer. For a very small amount of offers that need further verification, your Swag Bucks will be awarded once the advertiser confirms the activation requirements and reports the transaction to us. If an error occurs during the completion process, do I still get my Swag Bucks?
Unfortunately, points will NOT be awarded if an error occurs during the completion process. If this happens, please report the problem to gWallet's Customer Support so they can work with the advertiser to solve the error.
Can I apply for the same offer twice? What if I complete through a different service or in another application?
No. Once you have completed the offer, you will not be able to complete the offer again. Products and services subscribed or purchased through here are all from third-party advertisers. To cancel or unsubscribe from these offers, you will need to contact the advertisers directly. The contact information is in the advertiser's terms of services or the receipt they provide you upon offer completion.
How long will it take for my Swag Bucks account to be credited with Swag Bucks?
The majority of offers will credit your Swag Bucks account within 20 minutes. However, the estimated wait time varies from offer to offer. Some may take a few hours or a couple of days before final confirmation is received. For your convenience, every offer contains information on the expected time it takes to credit your account.
